Local company Boom Boom Productions, whose previous works include If the Shoe Fits and Bon Voyage, are back with their latest comedy show. Brakin’ Pad comes to the Lantern next week, and is described as an evening of “fun and mayhem”.
Written by local actress Donna Lesley Price and directed by Richie Grice, Boom Boom Productions have built up a wide fan base over the years. The pair also star, among a cast that includes Michael Swift, James William Watts, Shaun Fagan and Paul Aitkins. They describe the show thus: “Car trouble is the least of Bert’s worries. Today is about gangsters, guns and a new dodgy business partner. Sometimes it’s the female of the species that comes to the rescue. Just another day in the office for Brakin’ Pad motors…”
Catch Brakin’ Pad on July 17, 18, 24 and 25 – the Friday 24 July show is a charity performance for Claire House and Bliss. To book call or visit www.lanterntheatreliverpool.co.uk.
