Cartwright Cabaret is an amalgamation of work featuring highlights from many of Jim Cartwright’s much-loved plays, such as Road, Two, The Rise, Fall of Little Voice, and Raz.
The production will be staged by the Cartwright Drama Studio for a one-off Liverpool performance at the Capstone Theatre next week (November 14).
The studio, based in Chorley, offers weekly acting classes, run by Jim Cartwright himself. His motivation for setting up the Cartwright Drama Studio came from the many recent articles and statements released from leading members of the theatrical world, concerning the lack of opportunity for many to gain entrance to the profession or even training.
Cartwright Cabaret promises to showcase the work of the studio and its actors in a unique way, using Jim’s writing and 17 actors.
Tickets are available from Ticketquarter, here.
