THE Liverpool Playhouse will celebrate 200 years of the work of one of Britain’s greatest authors by hosting the first ever stage production of Jane Austen’s Persuasion this October.
ONE-MAN show Bottleneck is a coming-of-age story about a teenage boy growing up in Liverpool in the late 80s. Luke Barnes’s 2012 play, first performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, comes to the city next week in a revival from upcoming company Hiding Place Theatre.
