Liverpool wintertime comedy institution Big Wow returns to the Unity stage this week, with a revival of their very first show.
The company – comprising performers Matt Rutter and Tim Lynskey and writer Bob Farquhar – will be returning to their debut Extra Happy Happy for four nights.
The performances are fundraisers towards a summer trip to the Edinburgh Fringe with their most recent work, The Art of Falling Apart.
Extra Happy Happy is described as the story of “a hapless idiot with a wildly out of date Lonely Planet, travelling and looking for an ‘experience’. Expect sock puppets, ladyboys, talking goats and extreme silliness.”
What’s not to like? Catch them from Wednesday (February 12) until Saturday, for a little bit of this:
Tickets available from the Unity’s website.
