Film critic Mark Kermode makes city date
It's been announced today that movie buff Mark Kermode is headed to the Playhouse theatre in the winter for a one-off talk and book signing. It's Only a Film - also the name of his new book - will feature tales including the times he was shot while interviewing Werner Herzog in Hollywood, handbagged by Helen Mirren at the BAFTAs, and thrown out of the Cannes Film Festival for heckling in bad French.
