Fuse: New Theatre for Young People are going on a bear hunt. The company will spend a day searching far and wide for a bear in the surroundings of Sefton Park Palm House. They promise lots of fun tip toe-ing through caves, squelching through mud and wading through long grass to find a bear.
After a successful tour of Fabulous Family Tales, Fuse is proud to present this one-off performance of storytelling theatre in the park. The production will engage the audience in a fun, lively and interactive adventure through the tropical surroundings. Bear Hunt is appropriate for children aged 2-7 and their families. Each session will last approximately 30 minutes. After the performance, all children will receive a free copy of We’re Going On A Bear Hunt.
Fuse is an innovative theatre company based in Liverpool that blends creativity, fun and learning within new theatre and drama experiences accessible to all young people. Fuse evolved out of Merseyside Young People’s Theatre Company; an established organisation founded in 1978. The company has always believed in the importance of presenting high quality theatre to children and young people in any environment; touring to schools, galleries, libraries, museums, and theatre venues.
Probably the most well known production in the early part of the company’s history was Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers, commissioned by MYPT, the show toured to schools in the early 1980′s before being taken to the Liverpool Playhouse and eventually on to the West End where is it still running today.
