X Factor doing nothing for you this year? Sometimes you’ve just got to keep things real.
Horses of Apocalypse is a brand new comedy sketch show written by Michael D Roberts and Berni Hubbard. The act is based around a band that thinks their music changes the lives of the fans that follow them.
Martina Bolt (Berni Hubbard) and Zane Low Travis (Michael D Roberts) have been singing together for many years as a duo. Their record label forces them to take on another member of the band – enter Zanda Conquest (JohnPaul Cumberlidge) – as they attempt to recording for their first new album in over four years, and the show is set around the band’s first gig together after a very tense time in the studio (naturally, documented by Take the Cake Productions, the company behind the whole thing).
Catch Horses of Apocalypse doing their thing at Bumper on Hardman Street this Saturday (November 16). Tickets are available from their website.
